Surviving The Barren Valley and Discovering New Patterns

We made base camp after a long stretch across the barren valley that offered only emptiness and our own thoughts to keep us occupied. For these youth who are burning through so much pain and anger, re-evaluating the choices they’ve made, this barren stretch is often a self-torturous ordeal.
